  1. MyPageSetup will make your preferences for "Page Setup" and the "Print"
  2. job dialogs of your printer the default choices:

  4.   * Set Imagewriter "Tall Adjusted" so that ImageWriter & LaserWriter
  5.     page sizes are similar.
  6.  
  7.   * Set the type of paper you normally stock in your printer.
  8.  
  9.   * For Imagewriters, with the "Paper Size" button, you can change the
  10.     page sizes and names of paper choices, print quality, and page feed
  11.     method.

  13.   * For LaserWriters, you can change cover (user name) page printing.
  14.  
  15.   * For LaserWriters, you can add a "Disk File" check box to print to
  16.     disk.  This lets you create a postscript file of the document which
  17.     you can transfer to any postscript printer.  This is the equivalent
  18.     of pressing "F" key after hitting the "Okay" button on the print
  19.     dialog.

  21. MyPageSetup modifies the default settings in your current printer file
  22. ("ImageWriter" or "LaserWriter", the one you pick with "Chooser") when
  23. you click Okay on the dialogs. This may set off the gongs on your virus
  24. prevention software.  Nothing is changed if you click Cancel.

  26. MyPageSetup should work with other printers that follow the current
  27. Apple printer methods (as of system 6.0). However Apple states that
  28. printer methods are subject to change.

  30. Version 1.2 adds the "Disk File" check box (it was there all along,
  31. courtesy of some nameless Apple programmer, who left it in but hidden).
